Course overview

This course is designed for anyone who is involved with the development and implementation of food defence threat assessment and plans and/or food fraud activities at their workplace.

  • What is food defence and why is it important?
  • What is food fraud? Types and examples of food fraud.
  • Ranges of food defence and types of food fraud and their impacts
  • What is VACCP & TACCP
  • How to conduct food defence threat assessment using Threat Assessment and Critical Control Points (TACCP) and develop a food defence plan
