The AsureQuality Organic Standard covers organic primary production, organic processing and labelling. The standard provides a minimum requirement for you to comply with in order to gain Organic Certification for the production of, labelling of, and claims for organically produced foods. Our accreditations with JASANZ and IOAS allow you to get global market access for your organic products
AsureQuality is accredited by IOAS for the scope of product certification. Registration number: 43. We are accredited by IOAS to certify to IFOAM (International Federation Organic Agricultural Movement)(external link) (external link) , the world’s leading organic organisation. To ease product acceptance for the AsureQuality Organic Standard we suggest that imported product is certified under an IFOAM accredited programme. MPI Official Organic Assurance Programme (OOAP) - JASANZ
AsureQuality is a Recognised Agency for New Zealand's Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI)(external link) (external link) to provide the required third party assurance, where government to government official assurance is required.
Any operator exporting to the regulated markets covered by the Official Organic Assurance Programme (OOAP: OER:OPR) is required to register with MPI (external link)(external link) as an organic exporter and declare each consignment using an export certificate request.

- Japan – Japan Organic OMAR, MPI OOAP OER:OPR (NB: NZ plant exports only and requires the Japanese importer to have JAS certification plus contractual arrangements in place to allow JAS labelling)
- Switzerland – Switzerland Organic OMAR, MPI OOAP OER:OPR
- Taiwan – Taiwan Organic OMAR, MPI OOAP OER:OPR
- USA – USA Organic OMAR, (MPI OOAP OER:OPR & USDA NOP)
- China – China Organic OMAR

Canada Organic Regime (COR) - IOAS
AsureQuality can certify your products to gain market access to Canada.
Other Markets
The following markets have recently regulated but are not covered by certification from AsureQuality:
- Korean Organic Standard – AsureQuality has a working relationship with Korean based certifier WeCert to provide verification on their behalf in New Zealand).

Soil Association (United Kingdom)
AsureQuality is also able to provide assurance of Product Acceptance to Soil Association (external link) for:
- Livestock Production (Sheep & Cattle)
- Processed Agricultural Products
AsureQuality does not certify directly to the Soil Association Certification Standard, but product acceptance is useful if you are supplying a Soil Association certified operator in the UK.
